EDD invites applications for Internship opportunities. Applicants between 18 and 35 years of age will be considered. Successful Interns will be appointed for a period of twelve months. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R5 000.00.

The following condition will apply: • Application should be unemployed graduates who are in possession of the relevant tertiary qualifications indicated above and are South African citizen • Applicants should have no previous work experience in relation to Educational requirements • Successful applicants will sign an Internship Agreement
• Clearly indicate the relevant internship area and reference number of the internship they are interested in, in line with the indicated studies comprising their qualifications. If an applicant qualifies for more than one internship field, he/she may submit separate application for each field.
Application must be submitted on form Z83, obtainable from any Public Service Department or on the internet at www.dpsa.gov.za/documents. The completed and signed forms Z83 should be accompanied by recently updated, compressive CV as well as certified copies of all qualification(s) and ID-documents. Should you be in possession of a foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from South African qualification Authority (SAQA). Applicants who do not comply with the above-mentioned requirements, as well as applications received late, will not be considered. Failure to submit all the requested documents will results in the application not being considered. The Economic Development Department wishes to advise members of the public, particularly those in business, to be alert to a scam utilizing the logo of the Economic Development Department. The fraudsters involved send unsuspecting business operators a Request for Quotations for the provision of Solar Panels.
As the Economic Development Department, we wish to state that we do not have such a project, and therefore beware that the Request for Quotation is not from the Economic Development Department.
